The New Brunswick Hospice Palliative Care Association (NBHPCA) offers bursaries to support individuals working with palliative care populations in attending their annual Palliative Care Conference. These bursaries aim to alleviate financial barriers by covering conference registration and, in some cases, travel expenses.

Purpose

To provide financial support for attending the NBHPCA Palliative Care Conference.

Amount

Three (3) bursaries are available. These bursaries will cover conference registration fees.

Eligibility

Open to anyone currently working with the palliative care population.

Application Requirements

Personal Information: Name, address, telephone number, email address, and place of employment.

Written Report: A submission of 500 words or less explaining what palliative care means to you and the benefits to be gained from attending the conference.

Reference Letter: One reference letter from an individual familiar with your role in palliative care, including their position within the organization and contact information.

The application deadline is April 7, 2025.

Selection Process

Applications and reference letters will be reviewed by NBHPCA members to assess submissions and determine recipients. Successful applicants will be notified no later than April 15, 2025. Bursaries will be awarded upon receipt of “paid in full” registration to the Palliative Care Conference.
